Jaclyn has explored the art of movement for over 15 years, falling in love with Modern dance early on which led to her learning about Afromodern and African dance - and has been obsessed with African Diaspora movement and music ever since. Through the years, Jaclyn has performed Jazz, Classic Jazz, and Burlesque dance styles as well as movement and storytelling with the Wild Swan Theatre. She has also choreographed dance pieces and is a youth theatre teacher/director with Forget-me-not Theatre Productions where she can share her love for a range of arts, including world dance and music experiences.

 

Jaclyn has performed with Blue Moves Modern Dance Company, the Sr. Dance Company of Middle Tennessee, Like Water Drum & Dance, Nomobugante, Nomadic Jewels Tribal Belly Dance, the Movement Artists Guild of A2, and the Tree of Life Drum and Dance Society. Her dance instructor experience continues to grow as a teacher for Pure Barre and World Dance Workout where she is able to provide motivation for a life-changing workout.
