JAE
Jae's dance career launched at 16 years old when she moved from her home in Midland, Michigan to Columbus,Ohio to train in the BalletMet Professional Training Program. There, she immersed herself in ballet training and performed numerous works with the company.
Post high school, Jae continued her dance education at SUNY Purchase College and then transferred to the University of Michigan School of Music Theater and Dance where she received her BFA in Dance Performance. While ballet was her gateway into dance, Jae picked up other forms along the way and always appreciated the mental and physical challenge these other dance forms provided.
After college, she went on to pursue other interests and now works for Michigan State University Extension as the Washtenaw County Local Foods Coordinator.
"The urge to dance is never far from my being, and I regularly seek out ways to qualm my appetite for dynamic movement. This has allowed me the opportunity to explore and continuously challenge myself as an adult, of which I am so grateful."
