ROSALIE
Rosalie grew up in Switzerland where she began to cultivate her love of dance at the young age of 4; and she has never truly stopped. Her broad range of dance and life experience has taken her around the world to places such as Belgium, several African countries and the USA where she has performed in and choreographed for festivals, school shows and special events, such as winning 2nd place at Weekend des Jeunes Artistes en Herbe Onex (WAHO) in 2002 for a choreographed and performed dance piece.
As years passed, Rosalie discovered that teaching and creating choreographies encompassed what she loved most about dancing which led her to obtaining a Diploma as ‘Dance Teacher and Artistic Manager’ from the ArtéDanse in Bienne, Switzerland in 2008.
After traveling the world for over a decade, Rosalie settled down in Michigan with her husband and daughter in 2014. Regardless of context or life priorities, dance has given Rosalie the life/work balance she needed despite being on the move a lot for her professional life as a nurse.
"Performing has always been a tremendous personal pleasure, and has offered me opportunities to expend my range of expressive abilities."
