Seycon-Nadia is a passionate dancer, choreographer and singer specializing in the many dances of the African Diaspora, including Afrobeat, Dancehall, Soca, Belly Dancing, Samba, and many more.  In addition to being a Mover with Tableau Cadre, Seycon is the Artistic Director of Hidaya Diaspora Afro-Contemporary Dance Company, a dance troupe based in Detroit, MI.  

 

The western world misinterprets many of these movements, and views them as provocative.  Seycon dances not only to keep her cultures alive, but also to embrace her divine feminine power.
